October New Releases: Time to Bulk Up Your TBR
Just One Year by Gayle Forman: Don't even try to talk to me the day this comes out. I will be occupied! You can see my review of Just One Day here, to know why I'm so excited for JOY.
The Iron Traitor by Julie Kagawa: Julie is one of my favorite authors, and while I like her Blood of Eden series better, I would not pass up any book of hers.
Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano: I still haven't read anything by Lauren, but I'm very excited for this one.
Allegiant by Veronica Roth: Of course. That is all.
Endless Knight by Kresley Cole: Cole is mostly known as an adult paranormal author, but she's made a nice transition to YA. I enjoyed the first book in this series, Poison Princess, and you can read my review here.
The Eye of Minds by James Dashner: I'm not a huge fan of the Maze Runner series, but I'm looking forward to this.
Parasite by Mira Grant: One of my favorite covers this year.
Eat Brains Love by Jeff Hart: The cover gives a good indication that this is not your typical zombie story. And, I'm giving away an ARC!
Across a Star Swept Sea by Diana Peterfreund: I still need to read For Darkness Shows the Stars, but I've purchased it, and that's half (OK, maybe 10%) of the battle.
Blackout by Robison Wells: Reviews are pretty mediocre for this, but I enjoyed it.
Wild Cards by Simone Ekeles: The cover and the use of "bad boy" in the description almost scream NA, but I want to believe this will be different.
Six Month Later by Natalie Richards: This supposed thriller was actually predictable and silly.
Unbreakable by Kami Garcia: Even though I hated Beautiful Creatures, I somehow have high hopes for this book.
Horde by Anne Aguirre: I still need to start this series!
Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken: And...yet another series I need to start. I won this ARC, but I still need to read the first book.
STILL LOOKING FOR MORE?

Which of these October releases are on your TBR? And what are you dying to read that I did not include?

Okay Day One is going on my list- this one is new to me and I love the premise. Sounds great. Shadowlark could be promising and I like the cover of Tandem, just kinda cool. As for me, I'm looking forward to Tomorrow by CK Kelly Martin. Its the second in a series and the first one was pretty good, not great but intriguing enough.
ReplyDeletePlus Rick Riordan's House of Hades!! Ugh, I don't think I've made a dent in my TBR pile and yet October's here to add even more books... Hehe. But I love it.
ReplyDeleteAmazing amount of books releasing! This list just makes me realize how many books I still need to read and review for Oct. yikes!
ReplyDeleteMy Friends Are Fiction
Six Months Later looks good... And the cover of Parasite is pretty cool!!! That's the first I've seen it :)
