Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a new topic is given and weeks topic is:
My Fall TBR
Just ten??? Trust me, I'll be reading a lot more than just these books below, but this is a good start:
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner: I know I'm going to love this. I've had the ARC for more than three months, but I just have too many other books to read. If you want to give me a little push, go for it, because I plan to give it away once I've read it. Oh, and it's signed by Meagan and Amie, too!
Just One Year by Gayle Forman: I'm desperate for this one. Desperate. My pre-order was placed months ago, and I feel like I should take the day off work when it comes up, just so I can figure out what was going on with Willem!
Vicious by Victoria Schwab: I'm reading this right now! Only about 20 pages in, so I can't give an opinion yet.
Parasite by Mira Grant: I haven't read anything by Mira Grant yet, and it seems like her Feed series might be better-liked, but Parasite sounds exciting.
The Iron Traitor by Julie Kagawa: I'm going to read every book that Julie Kagawa writes. Period.
Champion by Marie Lu: I read a lot of dystopians, but Lu's series is one of the best.
Endless Knight by Kresley Cole: I've read almost all of Kresley Cole's (very steamy) adult paranormal books. Her YA post-apocalyptic series, beginning with Poison Princess is just as enjoyable.
Allegiant by Veronica Roth: How can I NOT read this? This isn't one of my favorite series, although I do like it. As a YA blogger, I feel like it's my duty to read it.
Cartwheel by Jennifer DuBois: This sounds very interesting - a fictionalized account of the Amanda Knox case.
S. by J.J. Abrams and Doug Dorst: There is a lot of mystery surrounding this book, but it's co-written by J.J. Abrams, and I can't wait to see what he's come up with.

These Broken Stars has been on every person's top 10. Man I need to get my hands on this when it's released! Great list :)
ReplyDeleteNo fall TBR list can be complete this year without Allegiant and Iron Traitor. Even I would read anything that Julie Kagawa writes.
ReplyDeleteOMG your ARC of TBS is signed by both authors?? Lucky! It's an incredible book, seriously. Go read it ASAP! I loved it so much <3
ReplyDeleteAnd omg The Iron Traitor is amazing. Everyone is going to love this one! I also have Allegiant and Champion on my list because well how can I not? ;) Love those series. Awesome list :)
My TTT
YES! It's signed by both Amie and Meg, as they were both at BEA earlier this year. That was one of the ARCs I HAD to get.
DeleteI didn't know your ARC of These Broken was signed! So jealous! :-) I earn to have mine signed but don't know how that will happen with them living so far away from each other. I loved it so you've got to read it soon! Thanks for getting me to make a Top Ten. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy Friends Are Fiction's TTT
Yes, I didn't have them personalize it, because I intended (and hopefully still intend) to give it away. I feel certain I'm going to want to purchase the hardcover.
DeleteAnd I'm glad you did a Top Ten. :)
These top ten prompts always add books to my TBR!
ReplyDeleteHere's my list of Top Ten Books I Can't Wait to Read This Fall!
I agree with Deb! I found more interesting books to add to my ever growingtTBR list. Thanks Stephanie.
ReplyDeleteHeres my TTT http://moniquesmobooks.blogspot.ca/2013/09/top-ten-tuesday13-top-books-on-my-fall.html
I'm looking forward to Vicious, the premise sounds fantastic and I love the book cover! :)

Nice list! Allegiant & Champion are on my list as well!! :)

Oh, I share your desperation -- absolutely can't wait for Just One Year (and it's on my list today too). S. sounds intriguing -- if it's by J. J. Abrams, I've got to check it out! I just got an ARC of Parasite, sounds totally creepy! Enjoy all of these -- great choices!

My TTT
Iron Traitor. Yes!!!!! I wonder how the edges will look on it. I kind of like the uneven rough ones.
ReplyDeleteI have not fully jumped on the Divergent bandwagon *Gasp* but my aunt is counting down the days for Alligent. Being the amazing niece that i am i ordered her a signed copy to go with her hardcovers.

Great picks! I´m looking forward to Endless Knight, Champion, Allegiant and The Iron traitor.
ReplyDeleteHere is My Top 10 Tuesday
Great list! These Broken Stars and Allegiant are on my list too, can't wait for them:)
ReplyDeleteTTT @ Eveline's Books
Love your choices. I really want to read Feed but Parasite sounds good (despite the name!) too.
ReplyDeleteAnd These Broken Stars who can resist that cover!
Have to admit I know nothing about S but I'm intrigued so I'll be looking out for your review on this.
Champion and Allegiant are going to be SO good. Great list!
ReplyDeleteMan, I wish I read that fast (and that I had a signed copy of These Broken Stars)! I'll be happy if I finish the ten I put on my list. :)
ReplyDeleteProbably everything on my list you've already read, but maybe not: http://roseshadowink.wordpress.com/2013/09/17/top-ten-tuesday-top-ten-books-on-my-fall-2013-tbr-list/
Haha I love that at the bottom: Make my TBR even bigger. Seriously, I'm dying right now! So many awesome books are releasing or have already released and I just don't have time to read like I want to! Definitely super excited for Allegiant, of course- I think it's been on most lists today! I have a copy of The Iron Traitor and I really want to get to it soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat list Stephanie!
Jessica@Lovin' Los Libros
So many awesome books! I forgot to add in THESE BROKEN STARS and PARASITE into mine, but I will be reading those soon, too.
ReplyDelete1. I really hope I enjoy this one as well, because you won't believe the number of positive reviews I've seen for it. Ha, yes, if I didn't have so many books, I would've gotten to this too, but alas.
3. Ooh, I hope VICIOUS turns out to be good! I've seen quite a few great reviews, but I haven't read anything by Victoria, so I don't know if I'll be giving it a go yet.
4. I totally forgot to add it into my TTT (like I don't already have enough books to read this fall >.<), but I'm going to read PARASITE really soon as well. Yeah, her previous zombie series seemed to be better, but I love the premise for her latest. Fingers crossed we both enjoy it!
6. This reminds me so much that I still need to read PRODIGY. Yikes.
10. Oh my gosh, I never knew J.J. Abrams wrote a book. I MUST read this. Such a strange - but cool - title!
All the best with your pile, Stephanie!
What a great list. There are some on there that I hadn't heard of before, but they look good. At some point I'll actually read the Legend series, everyone raves about it. Thanks for visiting my TTT.
ReplyDeleteI'd not heard of Cartwheel, although I was aware there were books flying around about Meredith Kercher and Amanda Knox. Sounds interesting, but I'm not sure I'd want to read it. Does that sound awful?
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT.
Sarah
I really want to read "Vicious" too. Happy reading!
